My colleagues tell me that Boardwalk empire is fantastic and so I think I will be using the Sky anytime facility to catch up with the first couple of episodes.

If you are unfamiliar with the Sky anytime facility let me introduce you ! Press the Tv guide button on your Sky remote and if you have a Sky + or Sky HD decoder you will then see a small red circle in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Press the red button and you will then be taken  to a separate page  showing  programmes which Sky have automatically saved to your hard drive.

Sky automatically update Anytime TV   every couple of days allowing you to watch the most popular programmes whenever you want .

If you have just activated your card or you have just purchased a new HD decoder from us then please be patient as it can take around 48hrs for Sky to send the first batch of programmes to your hard drive.

But what difference has Sky HD TV made to our normal TV viewing? To get to the music channels, use you Sky remote control press TV guide then Go down to Music and press Select, here you will find a great selection of music from all different genres. And over the festive period, you will find tonnes of programming related to Christmas music. With Christmas specials, Top 100 Christmas songs of all time and Cheesy Christmas songs, you wont be lost for what to listen to.

And it that’s not enough then you can listen to a massive catalog of radio stations. To get to the radio stations, press TV guide then press up and you will see it is the first option press select then scroll through the range. Here you will find all sorts of radio channels, from  Worldwide stations to Local UK channels so you can feel at home over the Christmas period. Sky Cards have looked into the schedule for the forthcoming festive period and some exciting programming is in stall for us this year. Sky Player is a really impressive piece of software, it runs in your web browser using the Microsoft Silver light technology, if you don’t already have Silver light then you are prompted to initiate a small download which installs the technology needed to play the content on your PC in a few easy steps.

Sky Cards thinks the user interface is really easy to use and very intuitive, Sky have tried to make the application as similar to watching it on your TV as possible given the limitations of the Internet.

We really recommend that once you have your Sky card that you get online and check this service out, one of the best things about this service is that you can watch the Sky TV you love whilst your out and about maybe in an Internet cafe, or it can be used if someone is watching the main TV and you want to watch something else, now you can using the Sky Player application.
